This weeks Quick Fire Questions is with Irish model and Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model star Hannah Devane.
What beauty product could you not live without?
My eyelash curler! I have quite long lashes but they are a bit flat so I always curl them for a boost even when im not wearing makeup because it opens your eyes!
What’s been your biggest achievement?
My charity work in India with the Hope Foundation definitely, I have fundraised over €53,000 for the street kids in Calcutta and travelled to India three times with HOPE where I trekked the foothills of the Himalayas in aid of the charity along with visiting the slums and projects they run. I am very proud to be one of their ambassadors.
Who’s the best person you’ve worked with?
Thats a tough one! The great thing about modelling is you always meet new talented people, I’m going to say all the people involved in Topmodel because all the creative teams and people involved on the show were amazing.
Have you met anyone in the industry that wasn’t what you expected?
Well, Elle McPherson was even more amazing than I thought! does that count? She was very approachable and interacted with us a lot which was really lovely, I have always been a fan but having had the experience on top model I can say I’m totally in awe.
What’s your favorite high street store?
Penneys wins hands-down! I love bargain hunting and they always have the best on trend clothes that are really affordable, I especially love their accessories!
How would you describe your style?
I have a pretty simple style, I love classic looks like a nice white t-shirt and jeans but im getting more experimental these days depending on my mood! I love anything animal print!
Describe a typical day in the life of Hannah Devane?
I’m happy to say im busy modelling with the Andrea Roche Agency here in Dublin so most days I am doing shoots, fashion shows or castings, I usually spend evenings with my family, friends and boyfriend. My favourite thing to do is eat out so I do that a lot!
Do you wear fake tan? if so which one do you use?
I do use fake tan but I like looking natural so I use it sparingly! I try lots of different brands depending on the look I want to achieve but I do love the St. Moritz Mouse and mist, I always get a natural result and its only €3.99 so that’s my fail safe brand at the moment
Who is your idol?
I can’t choose one idol because I have so many people who inspire me, my parents and my sister definitely because they are the best people I know and I have been lucky enough to grow up in a great supportive family.
What’s your favorite saying?
Its pretty simple, be positive!
Who’s your favorite fashion designer?
I’m definitely a high street girl but I do love the classic designs by designers like Michael Corrs and I loooooooove Christian Louboutin, I have one pair of his shoes that I will cherish forever!
What’s next for Hannah Devane?
I am going to stick around Dublin for the next while anyway to continue modelling, I have had the best year of my life so I am very excited to see what happens in the next year
