So far this year we have seen many celebrities wearing the gothic lip trend from Katy Perry, Ashley Olsen and Cheryl.

Firstly, it is important you pick the right colour goth for your skin type, if your fair skined and have a pink tone to your skin than stick to the berry-esque shades, such as Lancome Rouge in Love Range Lipcolour in Fiery Attitude as seen on Katy Perry at the Billboard awards. If your skin is darker with a golen/olive tone than look for deep red with a brown tone.
Nars, Inglot, Mac, Revlon and Lòreal all havin a stunning range of gothic tones to suit all skin tones. Make sure when applying this to your lips to use a lip pencil because if you want this look to work it needs to look super sleek and perfectly finished. It is important that your foundation, powder & bronzer is applied to perfection in order to keep focus on your lips, keep eye makeup to a minimal using golden tones and ensure to have them eyebrows in high definition.
Both Cheryl and Ashley Olsen kept their eye makeup to a minimum while pulling of this gothic lipcolour.
I think I might give this a little try
