Zeba Hairdressing South William Street, Dublin.

We’ve heard a lot about Zeba Hairdressing ( winners of Irish Tatler Style award and of the L’Oreal Professional Colour Trophy 2012) and so we decided to send one of our researchers, Kay, to find out what all the fuss was about. Before we hear about her experience,  here’s some info about the salon itself.
Background:  Zeba was established by Paul Dromgoole, who was joined in the venture by his then girlfriend and now wife, Angie and brother, Richard.
Philosphy: Zeba is not just a name.  Zeba comes from the old Persian Language “Zeba” – to Beautify Beauty.  This is the true basis of the Zeba philosophy, to make our clients look and feel beautiful, in beautiful surroundings by outstanding hair designers.

“At Zeba we believe that our team is unique in their approach to client needs. We believe that the ‘proof is in the pudding’ and that Zeba’s staff retention record, since the business launched, is testament to the team philosophy.  Whilst there is an organic level of staff turnover, our experience is that when a new staff member joins they remain with us for many years”

Over the past number of years, Zeba has been honoured to receive a number of top industry awards, both in Ireland and abroad.

So did it live up to expectations? here’s how Kay got on…

“I was really looking forward to a day of pampering at Zeba hairdressing and I was not disappointed.  On my arrival I was met by the receptionist & after giving her my name was shown to the waiting area & asked if I’d like a cup of coffee.  I accepted & was told that John would be looking after me today & he would be with me shortly.

I took the opportunity to look around the saloon & noticed that it was very bright with the minimalist look & nice & airy as it was a very warm afternoon.  It was very busy & everyone seemed happily going about their business looking after lots of clients.

John came & introduced himself & said he would be doing my blow-dry.  He took me to the wash hand basin & proceeded to wash my hair himself.  He gave it an extremely good wash & advised me about the type of conditioner he was putting in.  He asked me how I liked it blow dried & then went about it very professionally.

I was asking him some questions about my colour and he was very knowledgeable & gave me some advice for the future.  He was chatty without been over talkative.  I was very happy with the result & feel I will definitely be going back.”

Kay

So after that review, I’ll definitely be making the trip to Zeba Hairdressing for my next hair appointment :)
