The minute Lana Del Rey made it to the top of the charts this girl has been one to watch. She made her mark in style after the high fashion brand Mulberry named a bag after the young beauty. Now she has been swept away by H&M as the face of their Autumn Campaign for this coming September 2012.
These two sneak preview shots were released today when the news broke. Chloe Bowers head of PR for the brand said ‘they were looking for a style icon and singer to model our fall collection and Lana Del Rey was the perfect choice’.
The theme of the campaign incorporates this seasons autumn/winter themes including feminine cuts, power colours, tweeds and knitwear. Del Rey has also recorded the song ‘blue velvet’ which will be used in her ad campaign. We see a bright future for this young style icon and singer with Mulberry and H&M fascinated with her so soon in her career.
